Hike - Inspiration PointInspiration Point and it's sister trail, Seven Falls, begin at the end of Tunnel Road and split off of Mission Creek, which flows seasonally. Inspiration Point spans a shorter distance than many in the area, and climbs a bit more in elevation. The view at the top is everything the name suggests with sweeping, unimpeded views of the Channel Islands and Central Coastline as far as you can see.

Inspiration Point and Seven Falls are two of the most popular trails in the area, and for good reason. Beginning at the end of Tunnel Road and splitting off of Mission Creek. Inspiration Point is a shorter hike than many of the trails in the area, rising in elevation more steeply than others. But the payoff of this hike is worth the effort. At the summit, revel in the breathtaking views of the Channel Islands, the Central Coastline, and the surrounding hills stretching as far as the eye can see. With minimal shade along the trail, hikers should plan for a moderate difficulty trek and bring appropriate gear and supplies for a sunny day.

Hike - Jesusita TrailWith easy access from Steven's Park, Jesusita Trail is wildly popular with the locals for its mix of terrain and relative comfort. For most of the way, it mirrors the sycamore-shaded banks of a creek which winds up San Roque Canyon; protecting hikers from the sun and heat, even on a rare, blazing summer afternoon.
Jesusita Trail is a great hike for outdoor enthusiasts of all skill levels. It provides an easy-access, moderately challenging, and beautiful outdoor experience. As you ascend, the terrain gets steeper and the views become more expansive, giving glimpses of the sprawling cityscape below. At the top, you'll be rewarded with a breathtaking open meadow that provides an incredible panoramic view.
This hike is of moderate difficulty, making it suitable for ages 8 and up. Despite the challenge, the reward of the spectacular vista at the peak makes the Rattlesnake Canyon hike a must-see.
